2. About study (for 12th pass out ARTS STREAM students)

Q1. Do you work or study?

I have recently passed my senior secondary class.  Now I am planning to go abroad for my higher education.

Q2. What subjects did you choose / study in you 12th class?

I have done my senior secondary class in arts stream. My major subjects were Political Science, Sociology and History of Punjab. Besides these subjects I also studied two languages which were English and Punjabi.

Q3. Why did you choose these subjects?

Actually I have always been interested in getting knowledge about our society and political system of our country. And only these subjects could provide me this knowledge. So this interest of mine made me choose these subjects.

Q4. Did you like your subjects?

Yes, I liked my subjects a lot. They satisfied my thirst for knowledge about society.

Q5. Were your subjects very interesting?

Yes, My subjects were very interesting. I always read them thoroughly and scored high marks.

Q6. Do you prefer to study in the mornings or in the evenings?

I like to study in the evening time because at that time I remain totally free and I can study with full concentration. In the morning time I remain busy with my classes as I am attending Ielts classes at an Ielts academy.

Ans- I prefer to study in the morning time as I feel fresh and no body disturbs me at that time. Secondly, I feel that I my concentration level is more in the morning as compared to any other part of the day.

Q7. What subjects did you find difficult?

I found History a bit difficult as it was not easy for me to remember so many dates and past events.

Q8. Which subject did you find easy?

I found almost all the subjects very easy except history as there was a lot of confusion regarding remembering the dates of various events.

Q9. Which subject did you like the most?

My favorite subject was sociology. By reading this subject I came to know how our society develops and works. This subject gave a tremendous knowledge about family behavior, caste system in India, norms of different cultures and inters- relation of different institutions in the society.

Q10. Are you looking forward to working?

Not right now. But When I go abroad for my higher education I’ll do a part time job to meet my living expenses.
